Isle of Palms Surf Report

Waves: At 8:00AM waves 1 ft knee to thigh high fair conditions

Buoy Information: Edisto Buoy is reporting a wave height 3.3 ft with dominant wave period intervals 5 seconds

Wind: Winds light 4 mph offshore out of the W. Wind gusts from W between 7 and 9 mph.

Air temperature: 74 deg F with a forecast high near 84 deg F

Tides: H 7:57 AM L 1:52 PM H 8:09 PM L 2:11 AM

Water temperature: 81 deg F in the Charleston harbor

Barometer: 1012 mb and steady

Other information: Surf today will be 1 ft knee high with fair conditions. All day expect waves to have inconsistent fair form and quick close-out. Winds will be light 4 to 6 mph cross/offshore mainly from the W. Windswell through noon today will be from the S 1.4ft with a very brief 4s swell interval. After noon the primary swell will be under 1 ft from the ESE with a 10s swell interval.

IOP Connector will be closed tomorrow (Oct 1) from 7 AM until about 11 AM for the IOP Connector Run: To get to IOP during that time, take the Ben Sawyer causeway to Sulliavan's Island, and then Jasper Blvd to IOP.

IOP Parking: Parking is regulated along the public rights-of-way May 15 through September 15. After September 15, visitor parking includes more of the road right-of-ways as described on the following Isle of Palms City web page.
